Erbslöh France is a 30-strong company based in Servian (34) that designs, produces, and markets beverage technology products.

The company was established in 1895 by Dr. Hubert, a Swiss scientist based in Béziers. He founded his laboratory for enology, which later evolved into Laboratoire Hubert-Jaumes in 1902 and La Littorale in 1923. Over the years, it became a part of various major industrial groups like Union Carbide in 1967, Gist Brocades in 1987, DSM in 1999, and eventually, in 2003, it became the French subsidiary of the German Erbslöh group. Erbslöh France currently sells food additives and auxiliaries in the beer, cider, fruit juice, and wine markets, the latter being the largest.

Our company’s headquarters, located in Servian, produces powder and liquid formulations for the French market and other subsidiaries within the Group. The formulations are developed by our R&D teams, who are always attentive to the needs of our customers and the requirements of their respective markets. The site also serves as the product storage facility for Erbslöh France, from where we efficiently deliver our products to customers across all regions of France.

We adopted a quality management approach to enhance our food safety performance and maintain compliance with relevant regulations. As a result, in 2016, we became the first French company in the enological products market to achieve dual ISO 22000 – FSSC 22000 certification.

In 2022, we launched a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to formalize our commitment to balancing economic performance with environmental, social, and societal considerations for our employees and stakeholders.
